Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you all have been having a lovely break. This is the outfit I wore for Christmas and I have never felt more festive! This dress from Living Doll is basically the female equivalent of what I would imagine Santa Claus to wear. It is a gorgeous red velvet sleeveless dress with a swishy a-line skirt and a tighter bodice.  It is such a comfy style of dress but it looks so fancy as well.

I paired this dress with some slightly sheer tights that, if you look closely, have little hearts on them! I then added a pair of plain black Bloch flats and a grey cardi with jewelled beading on it. Because the cardigan and dress are both statement pieces, I kept my accessories simples with a silver compass pendant and my Marc Jacobs watch and Pandora bracelet.

This dress will forever be termed my christmas dress and I think it’s the perfect dress to wear to a New Year’s Eve party. It’s also available in navy so go check out Living Doll!

I have never worn a drugstore foundation before. I don’t have anything against them… well maybe I do since I have never found one I like. But that has all changed. I recently picked up this Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation from work and I did not have high expectations for it at all. It sat in my room for a couple of weeks but a few days ago, I picked it up and decided to finally try it out. A bit of background on my foundation-wearing ways: I have worn Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation for about a year and a half now. I used to love it but lately I’ve been feeling as if I could do better. Enter this foundation.

As soon as I started to apply it, I noticed a huge difference. Winter has turned my skin into a dry flaky mess (I’m exaggerating but still) and exams have caused stress pimples (so not cute) but this foundation applied beautifully. It’s a very moisturizing formula so it did not make my dry skin stand out nearly as much as my Tarte foundation did. Plus this foundation is supposed to give an anti-fatigue effect as well as a radiant glow. I definitely noticed that my skin looked a lot healthier and indeed had a glowing look to it. It has a nice bit of coverage, definitely buildable but it still has a nice light feel to it.

The only issue I have with this foundation is that once summer comes and my skin is more oily, there’s no way I’ll be able to get away this foundation. This foundation is definitely best suited for people with dry skin. Even when I set this foundation with a matte powder, I do fine myself looking a bit shiny towards the end of the day.

Other than that, I’ve really been enjoying this foundation and it has definitely replaced my Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation. Oh and the best part? Its a quarter of the cost! Hurrah!

Find it here: http://uk.rimmellondon.com/products/face/wake-me-foundation

(I wear the lightest shade: 100 Ivory)

I’m officially on winter break and I’ve never been happier! I am not going to think about school for three weeks, how great does that sound?! Not that finals are over, and Christmas is nearing, I have been putting more of a festive touch on my outfits. I like to dress casual but add cute pieces to make it a bit more fancier. Because to me, fancy = festive.

The main part of my outfit is this gorgeous necklace from Knotty Gal. It truly is the perfect statement necklace. It consists of a cute black rope intertwined in a gold chain. The name, Knotty Gal, describes this company perfectly. All of their jewelry is made from knotted cord and metal to create a stunning masterpiece. I love all of their jewelry so much! Also, Knotty Gal donates a portion of all proceeds to the Bhandari Girls School. So not only are you getting a gorgeous piece of jewelry, but you are also giving girls the chance to learn and follow their dreams! What more could you want?!

Because I wanted this necklace to stand out, I kept the rest of the outfit pretty basic. I threw on this maroon/purple tee from American Eagle. This is one of my favorite shirts right now because from the front, it looks like a regular t shirt but then when you turn around… BAM… gorgeous pleated chiffon dresses it up. For bottoms, I’m wearing my new pair of Miss Sixty denim that are absolutely perfect. They fit so well and may be the comfiest pair I have ever owned. To complete the outfit, I finished with black accessories, like my Bloch flats and this oversized handbag.

I have always been very into jewelry but lately, my style is evolving. I used to stack on bracelets to create the perfect arm candy but lately, my motto is “less is better”. I have been loving wearing this bracelet from Kitsch. It is called the Heart Throb Bracelet and what I love about it is that even though it’s such a delicate bracelet, it also has a side of edginess to it. It consists of a thin silver bar with hearts on it (there’s also skulls, crosses, and stars varieties!). Then for the little punch of uniqueness, there are two delicate chain tassels hanging down from it, making this bracelet adjustable as well.

I paired this bracelet with my new Marc Jacobs watch, which I think compliments it wonderfully. Then, for my rings and earrings, I tried to go with the same simple but edgy vibe. These long bar earrings are one of my most recent obsessions. They go with so many outfits! And these rings, I recently picked up on Black Friday from Loft 82 and Oak and Fort. How pretty are they?

Nothing feels better than wrapping up in knit clothing and accessories on a cold winter day. Winter has really hit hard this year and as much as I hate the snow, I definitely don’t hate the comfy clothes that come out.

My favorite part of my outfit is this thick infinity scarf from Mad Monkey Clothing. This scarf is literally the necessity of all winter outfits. Not only is it a tight knit, keeping in all the heat, but the brightly colored stripes allow it to match any outfit I pair it with. It incorporates all of the season’s colors, I love it!

I paired it with one of my warmest cardigans that matches the green stripe in the scarf. To finish off the look, I wore my basic pair of jeggings and added heeled booties. My neutral clutch with leather accents brought all the outfit’s colors together.

If you’re like me, and am in need of such cute and cozy pieces for the dreaded winter season, go check out Mad Monkey Clothing!

As university finals near closer and closer, my style is getting less and less preppy. I am gravitating more towards layers and comfort instead of my usual girly pieces. However, this cute cat notebook is cheering up my days of studying. This journal is from Mad Monkey Clothing, and is one of the most adorable things I have ever seen! I love writing notes in it at school and it brings so much excitement to my otherwise boring studies. Plus, I feel like the Lucky Cat will bring me success and good fortune on all of my upcoming exams! Fingers crossed! Mad Monkey Clothing also has a variety of super cute journals and notebooks in addition to their trendy clothes so go check them out!

So, I finally did it. Yep, I bought a Marc Jacobs watch. For those of you who have been following me for quite some time now know how obsessed I am with Marc Jacobs. He is my brother from another mother basically.

But yes, I may have splurged a bit on this watch, but I have wanted it for so long and it’s such a classic style. I hope I will be wearing this for years to come. It is the Marc by Marc Jacobs Amy 36MM in Silver. It has a white face with silver hands. I was kind of against a white face to begin with. But I figured it would be the best choice for me, as I find black faces tend to look too manly and a silver face wouldn’t be enough contrast. It has numbers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 and then pave stones at the other time intervals. It also has a Sapphire Crystal face which is so necessary as it’s scratch resistant.  It is a fairly simple watch; no added bling or functions. It just has ‘Marc by Marc Jacobs’ etched around the face. I wanted a watch that I could wear on an everyday basis but one that could also function as a more dressy watch if I needed.

I think this watch is absolutely perfect for me and I hope you think so too!

Winter’s coming. I can’t say I’m excited about it, but I’m definitely excited to wear this jacket. This jacket is from a cute boutique called Amies La Vie and it practically screams Christmas. I don’t own many red items but I love how this one pops against the cold white snow. This jacket is a more edgy style with gunmetal studs lining the lapels but the cropped, fitted style makes it a bit more glam and girly! From the distance, this jacket has almost a leather look to it, but it is actually a soft rayon/polyester blend.

I tried to incorporate both the grunge and glam into my outfit with my favorite Beatles tee, grey denim, and black booties that also have studs on the heel. For accessories, I wanted to keep them quite simple and let the jacket do all the talking. I added my new Marc Jacobs watch and a cute tassel bracelet from Kitsch.

Amies La Vie has been getting in more and more cute pieces for the winter so go check them out!

So, let me just start off by wishing you all a very belated happy halloween! I hope it was fab. Meet my two bestest skeleton friends. I call them Erinn and Emily. But anyways, onto the outfit!

I was unsure if I could pull of this chunky chain chocker (hello alliteration) which you can find from MidnightGirls but Kim Kardashian rocks a similar one so fabulously so I decided to give it a try. (Check out how she wears hers here) In my typical matchy-matchy nature, I paired it with a chunky link bracelet, also from MidnightGirls. I love that both of these pieces seem to give this outfit a bit more of an edgy, chic vibe. I’m basically Kim Kardashian right now, let’s be honest.

The rest of my outfit is pretty warm and comfy. I paired my one of my favorite tunic tanks with some purple leather accented leggings, heeled booties, and the warmest cocoon cardigan I could find because unfortunately, winter is coming.

Back to the jewelry; I was extremely impressed with both pieces. Like all the jewelry I look for, they are of great quality, they have a nice weight to them and they are at a reasonable price range. I will be featuring more jewelry from MidnightGirls in future outfits so look out for that!

I’ve begun to notice I’ve stuck to more neutral colors lately so I wanted to change that up a bit! And what better way to do that, than with a fun statement necklace. This minty blue is such a pretty color so I made that the theme of my outfit! This necklace is from http://www.wildbutterflyboutique.com/ and is currently on sale for $12.99! How could you pass that up? I love the vintage and girly style of it. I paired it with my fluttery Free People top, basic jeggings and a few other bracelets from J. Crew that complimented the color of the necklace! Look out for another outfit featuring more Wild Butterfly Boutique jewelry, coming soon!

I have never needed glasses but to be honest, I am very envious of whoever gets to wear glasses. I was not aware how many cute styles there are, especially at Firmoo.com, an online eyeglasses store that offers high quality glasses at affordable prices. The style I picked out is the #F023. They are a gorgeous tortoiseshell frame with a nice pop of blue in the interior of the glasses. They are a slightly oversized shape with square shaped lenses. I just got mine with fashion lenses, no prescription lenses, but you can order any of the glasses with whatever prescription you need! This style is also available in a simple brown and a red color with yellow interior.

I know it can be a bit tricky to guess if a pair of glasses will suit your face or not, so to eliminate that, Firmoo has a great virtual try-on system in which you can upload a picture of your face or use a model’s face to see what the glasses look like on your face! Also, if you’re still not convinced that these are the glasses for you, you can try out the First Pair Free Program. This program allows you to pick out a pair of eyeglasses entirely for free! How could you say no to that?!

To compliment the glasses, I chose this mint colored Free People top, simple jeggings, and my well-loved brown leather boots.

You may not believe me when I say that I went through a period of 6 years of never wearing dresses. I may be one of the girliest people you will ever meet and yet, dresses did not become a staple in my wardrobe until a couple of years ago. But boy am I glad they did. This dress from Mad Monkey Clothing is by Free People and is a purple/maroon chiffon. It’s the perfect fall dress. The color screams Autumn and the style is lovely for pairing with tights and boots. I also am obsessed with the sleeves of this dress. I know, what a weird thing to be obsessed with but I love how flowy and sheer they are. I’ve never had a dress with long sleeves before! I was super excited to wear this dress with my beloved Hunter rain boots and some grey tights and grey socks for a bit of added warmth. I kept the accessories pretty simple as I love to show off the style of the dress so I just wore a pair of button studs from Mad Monkey Clothing, a pink bow in my hair, and of course, my pandora bracelet. As for my purse, I love this one from Mad Monkey clothing by the brand Roxy. I highly recommend for you to check out Mad Monkey Clothing, it’s one of cutest boutiques ever with all of my favorite brands in one place. I guarantee you will find plenty of things that you will fall in love with!

I know what you all are probably thinking. “Taylor! You’re in university now, shouldn’t you be wearing sweats and hoodies?!” I just can’t do that. However, I think this outfit is perfect for the vibe of university! You look put together but it’s still comfy and casual! My favorite piece in this outfit is this Sleeveless Acid Wash Denim Shirt, which can be purchased from Goddiva. This is such a staple item! It is great for pairing under cardigans, like this girly lace one, but can also be tucked into skirts or layered over light long sleeved shirts like a vest. It is such an easy piece to style, I love it! Plus, the gold buttons add an extra girly touch. To minimize the amount of blue denim in this look. I added pink jeans on the bottom and then for shoes, I wore these super cute Studded Mid Heel Boots from Goddiva. You probably think I’m absolutely insane for wearing shoes with a heel to university where you do more walking than learning. But in my defence, these boots are so comfy! They have a thick rubber-like heel that makes these boots so easy to walk in! I wore these for an entire day and my feet felt totally fine afterwards! And I can never go anywhere without accessorizing so I added a colorful bib necklace from Statement Boutique and these new earrings that I am so so so obsessed with from Loft 82! Check out Goddiva to get your own staple fall pieces!

It’s finally the first day of fall! For me, leather and combat boots always scream fall so I made sure to incorporate those into my outfit today! This gorgeous vegan leather jacket and spiked combat boots are from a trendy online website called Priceless. I’ve always been interested in finding a leather jacket to add to my closet but I needed one that wasn’t too edgy and would fit with my girly style. I love this one because it’s fitted and is quite simple, without any added punkiness. This jacket is great for more casual outfits like mine today or for a more evening look. I also love these spiked combat boots that are also from Priceless. They add the perfect amount of edginess to this outfit with the spikes but the plain black leather doesn’t distract from the rest of the ensemble. Priceless has many other items that are perfect for fall at a very affordable price so go check them out!

I have been wanting to try Benefit’s Box O’ Powders for a quite a while now so I was super excited to try their new shade, the Rockateur boxed blush. When I first saw the promo for this blush, I wasn’t crazy about it. I typically like my blushes to be completely matte with no shimmer. This blush is marketed as a shimmery rose gold color so I thought I would not like it but boy, was I wrong! I love this shade! I love to layer it over my Marc Jacobs blush in Tantalizing. It gives such a nice, warm glow to my face. This would also work as a highlight on your cheekbones if you’re a bit darker than me.

As for packaging, Benefit did a fantastic job as always. This blush comes in a pretty lace printed box with studs and all. The actual powder is gorgeous as well with ‘Rock’ imprinted on it! Plus, the Benefit Box O’ Powders always have such a nice scent to them! This one smells fresh and floral. A handy mini brush is also included which makes this great for travelling!

Overall, I am obsessed with blush and this is becoming my staple beauty item for fall!

So I’m not really sure why I waited so long to upload my graduation post but here it is! Commencement took place on Monday, May 27th 2013 and it was one of the most emotional days of my life. It was such a weird feeling knowing that I graduated high school and I would have to move on to university in a few months. It was a very busy day for me as well. My dance class and I performed a dance during the ceremony so we had our dress rehearsal early in the morning, meaning I had to do my makeup and hair at the Winspear Centre. It was a slightly stressful morning but I think everything turned out all right! My dress that I wore underneath my graduation gown is from Growze. I was having extreme second thoughts about this dress the week before Commencement. But I’m so glad this is the dress I wore! I think it’s so classic and timeless and it was very comfy throughout the long ceremony. I wore the same gold heels that I wore with my banquet dress. I then added a cream necklace as my only accessory. For big events, I always like to downplay the jewelry. I wore my hair straight down with a middle part which I think complimented the tradition graduation cap! So that’s what I graduated in!

Usually I’m not the biggest fan of rain but ever since I got this super cute rain jacket from Mia Melon, I have been wanting it to rain everyday! This jacket is one of cutest I have ever seen! It is completely waterproof so it’ll keep you dry even on the rainiest of days. It’s a pretty navy color with a cute blue lining. I cuffed the sleeves to show the lining and pick up the blue color in my jeans. I also love that this jacket has a drawstring waist which keeps it from looking too boxy and gives it a bit of shape! I paired this jacket with some bright patterned jeans and rubber boots to compliment the whole ‘rainy day’ look. And I almost forgot to mention the best part about this jacket! Currently it is on sale for only $85, down from $170! Go get it while you still can!

So to be honest, I think lip glosses are the most annoying things ever. Either they’re super sticky and messy to apply or not pigmented at all. However, I have always been a huge fan of Benefit lip glosses. The ‘plush’ glosses glide on so smoothly and they smell so yummy! There are six shades in total to match each of the Benefit boxed powders. First is Dandelion, my personal favorite. This one is a soft pearly pink, perfect for everyday! Next is Coralista, a sheer coral, which I love to wear in the summer over a bright orange lipstick and Hoola, a shimmering golden nude.

This jacket from Mad Monkey Clothing is the perfect piece for the end of summer. Right now in Edmonton, the weather is pretty hot but can get a bit chilly in the morning and evenings. Mad Monkey Clothing is a cute boutique located in Ontario (but they also have an online store too) which features clothing from many coveted brands, including Free People, Roxy, Gentle Fawn, and Billabong. All of the clothing they carry has a more boho feel to it which I love! This jacket is very girly but also has an edgy vibe with the bomber jacket shape. It features a delicate white lace front and back with a satin lining. I paired this jacket with a simple daisy tank, pink jeans to add some color, ankle booties and the cutest Roxy purse which I also received from Mad Monkey Clothing. I adore this bag! It has a tribal printed strap and fun charms and studs to add some more edginess! I love all the clothing from Mad Monkey. Also, they have an awesome promotion going on right now! On your birthday, you can shop in store and get a discount based off your age, plus a cute lip balm. For example, I’m going to be turning nineteen so I would get 19% off!

Plus, check out my blog later on, where I’ll be featuring another outfit from Mad Monkey Clothing!

Sure, traditional denim shorts are great and everything but sometimes they’re just a little too boring and casual. That’s why I love these shorts from Mia Melon. These are called the Perry Shorts and they have a become a staple in my closet. They are made of a black flows material and are very loose and comfy. But don’t let the comfyness fool you. These shorts are so easy to dress up as well. From far away, these shorts look like a black skirt so pair these with a girly lace blouse and you’re ready for a night out! I opted to go for a more casual look with these shorts. Since they are high waisted, I was able to pair these with my favourite crop top that appropriately reads, “too sassy for you”. I then added a pair of simple grey sneakers and an oversized neon clutch for a pop of color. I love the details of these shorts as well. They have a cute front tie that makes these shorts extra cute and they have pockets as well which is always handy! Go check out Mia Melon!

Hoodies are always gonna be a staple in your closet so why not find the cutest one ever! This one is from Apliiq which is the coolest website ever! On Apliiq, you can design your own hoodie or any other piece of clothing! I decided to customize a hoodie. First, I was able to pick the color. I went with Truffle, a deep maroon color that screams autumn. I then added some patterned fabric to my pockets and lining of the hood. You can pick exactly where you want the fabric and can pick from 600 different patterns and prints! I went with the dog pattern because surprise! I love dogs! Finally, I opted for some cool gold chain drawstrings instead of the traditional string ones. I love the finished product! It is an American Apparel hoodie so it’s super comfy but it’s also super unique because I designed it myself! I can feel pretty confident wearing this to school, knowing that nobody will have anything like it! I paired this hoodie with my favorite fall essentials including combat boots (similar here), cream knit socks and a slouchy black bag. Go check out Apliiq and design your own clothing!

I recently received some jewelry from Peacock Plume that I absolutely love! Both pieces are so beautiful and are great at incorporating color into your outfit. First is the Pretty as a Peacock Necklace. This necklace is a gold chain with three peacock feathers dangling from it with turquoise beads. It’s such a delicate piece, yet it makes a gorgeous statement as well! The other jewelry item are these stunning earrings called the Get to the Point Earrings. I’ve been looking for a nice pair of dangly earrings for a while and I really love these. I tend to like studs a bit more but because these earrings aren’t too large, I think they are really pretty! They have a turquoise post with gold triangle details and a large mint stone. I paired these jewelry pieces with a pretty neutral outfit to let the colors of the jewelry pop. I wore my favorite black peplum top with black accessories and taupe corduroys. I love how the necklace and earrings added a nice special touch to the outfit! Go check out Peacock Plume!

It’s been a while since I used a Covergirl mascara. It used to be the only brand of mascaras I would use. I’ve tried the Eyelights (that one’s being discontinued by the way, so if you love it, be sure to pick one up before they’re all gone!), Lashblast original, Lashblast Fusion, Lasblast Length, everything! But the Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara is by far my favorite! This mascara promises 200% more volume without any clumps. Personally, I see more dramatic length than volume. But Covergirl is correct about zero clumps. The curved plastic brush is awesome at applying enough product to your lashes but also eliminating any clumps at the same time. The only thing I don’t like about this mascara is the formula. When this mascara dries, it’s very stiff which would be great for holding a curl but for me, I like when my lashes are soft and touchable. Other than that, This mascara is amazing and I will definitely be repurchasing it!

So, I think some of you may be realizing by now, that I can’t wait for summer to end and autumn to start. I’m quite certain the only good thing about fall is that I can finally start to wear cozy sweaters. And I’m positive I will be wearing this sweater from Mexy Shop quite a few times throughout autumn. This knit tunic is so cute! It is the perfect length to be worn many different ways. It can be paired with tights and heeled booties for a more fancy look; perfect for christmas parties! Or, it can be worn more casually like how I chose to wear it today. I paired it with plain black leggings, black ankle booties, and layered a knit infinity scarf overtop to complete the cozy, simple vibe. This sweater is available in many other colors like blue, black, red and beige. I love the green color I got mine in. I don’t know own many green items of clothing but I absolutely love this color for fall and winter. Plus, I like to think it makes my eyes look extra green!

Benefit is easily my favorite makeup brand. I have always loved their fun packaging and innovative products. Fun fact: I first started using Benefit makeup when I was only 10; I used the Bad Gal Mascara for dance and have loved it ever since! Anyways, the Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer is Benefit’s newest product. I have a love-hate relationship with primers. Sure, they’re great at making your makeup stay on all day but a great number of them also happen to make my skin breakout. However, this primer is very nice to my skin and doesn’t make it break out! I love the texture of this too. It’s very silky and smooth and helps my makeup last all day. Plus, the packaging is adorable too! I love the girly combination of polka dots and hot pink! There are both pros and cons to the stick application. It is very easy to apply as you can just quickly run it over you face and blend it out with your fingers. However, I feel as if bacteria can be spread more easily as you are applying this product directly to your face from the container. Other than that, this primer is great at helping your makeup stay fresh all day!

With each day that passes, it’s getting closer and closer to sweater weather and I couldn’t be happier. This sweater from Mexy Shop is the perfect transition piece between the seasons. With the airy holes and the drapey look, this sweater is perfect for chillier summer days or late summer nights. Not to mention, this is the most comfy and stylish sweater ever! It features an asymmetrical hemline, a cute decorative pocket and a wide neckline that can be worn off the shoulder. This sweater can be worn so many ways. I decided to pair it with stacked heeled ankle booties and rose gold accessories, but this sweater would also look great over a summery dress or skirt to dress them down. I love all the clothes on Mexy Shop and I’m sure you will too! I received a couple of other items from them, which I will also be sure to feature them on my blog so watch out for those!

Marc Jacobs is easily my favorite designer. But because I am a poor 18 year old trying to save up for university, I don’t own many of his collections or pieces. However, as soon as I heard word of his new beauty line, I knew I had to splurge on one thing. So, I hurried over to Sephora, and picked out a blush. This is very irregular for me. Usually, I have to listen to tons of reviews and really research what I want. But the whole Marc Jacobs Beauty line is so beautiful, I was just spontaneous in choosing what I wanted. And let me tell you, everything about this line is perfect. The packaging is flawless and so far, all the products are absolutely amazing!

I picked out this blush for my one splurge item. It is called the Shameless Bold Blush in the color Tantalizing. And I know what you all are thinking, this doesn’t seem like the type of color I would go for. But as the makeup artist at Sephora said, I probably have way to many pinks and peaches. I am so happy I went with the color! It is so pigmented and easily buildable so I can pick between having rosy cheeks or going for a very defined, glam look. It is the perfect color for autumn and winter. I have been wearing it everyday and I am falling more and more in love with it!

Let’s talk about the packaging now. It is absolutely stunning. It comes in a shiny black compact with an included mirror. A little travel brush also accompanies it which will be perfect for travel, it is actually a decent brush! Then, the two items are enclosed in a black pouch. It makes the little blush seem so luxurious, I love it!

So all in all, I am absolutely obsessed with this blush and I am so glad that Marc Jacobs didn’t dissapoint. I am already picking out my next item from the line… uh oh…

I have to admit, one of the main reasons why I am so excited for the end of summer, is that I will be able to start wearing sweaters again! And this sweater from Altar’d State is definitely gonna be my first to wear. The Crochet Sweater is a soft acrylic knitted sweater that is available in this beige color as well as a dark coral. My favorite part about this sweater is definitely the lace peeking out from the hem. It adds such a cute and feminine detail to the top. This sweater is going to be such a great transitioning piece between the summer and fall and carrying into winter. It’s very lightweight but can also be easily layered with other pieces for colder days. I paired this sweater with my favorite leggings, mustard-colored ankle boots, and cute cream socks. I was very impressed with the clothing at Altar’d State. All of their pieces are so unique and have such a girly touch that I always look for so go check out Altar’d State!

I have to admit, when I first received this package from Mally Beauty, I thought the primer and lip glosses were going to be pretty average. Typically, I am not a huge fan of either but I was pleasantly surprised with these products! They turned out to be absolutely amazing!

This Evercolor Poreless Face Defender is unlike anything I have ever tried. It has a smooth, silky touche that is dabbed on using a sponge. However, instead of putting this under your makeup, this is applied to your finished makeup. This product is amazing at minimizing fine lines and the look of pores. Plus, it helps your makeup stay on all day and can be reapplied to keep your face look matte. I also love the packaging of the Poreless Face Defender. One side contains the actual product, while the other side contains the sponge and a handy mirror. This is such a great item to have in your purse for touchups throughout the day!

The next item I received from Mally Beauty is a set of 3 Evercolor Lip Lacquers. In the past I hated lip glosses because of two reasons, they were incredibly sticky and went on sheer. But I am very pleased to say, these lacquers were the total opposite of any glosses I have ever tried before. Everything about this product is absolutely perfect. They are not sticky at all and their pigmentation is incredible. They are almost like wearing a lipstick except with added shine and gloss. Plus, these lacquers contain special oils to help condition and hydrate your lips. What more could you want in a lip product! The colors are so beautiful as well and are perfect for the summer months. There is a mid tone pink perfect for everyday wear, a bright coral that screams summer, and a beautiful red that can be applied sheer for a casual look or built up for a more fancy occasion.

I was extremely impressed with both of these products from Mally Beauty. I don’t think I’ll ever use a different primer or lip gloss ever again! These are definitely my new go-to products so go check out Mally Beauty!

I have been drifting more and more towards skirts this summer. Believe it or not, I used to not even wear skirts a couple years ago! But now, skirts have become a staple in my closet. I especially love this one from Cozi Bear Boutique. It’s a trendy high low style, and made of a comfy cotton material. They are available in five gorgeous colors but I pick mine in this summery mint color! I paired this skirt with my favorite white lace top and a grey and white chevron infinity scarf which is also from Cozi Bear Boutique. Chevron has become such a popular print lately so I knew I needed to find a chevron printed item. This scarf is very lightweight so it’s perfect for hotter weather. The price of both of these items were very inexpensive so be sure to check out Cozi Bear Boutique

So, I have this weird obsession with periwinkle. I feel as if there is a large absence of periwinkle in my closet and my life. Because of this, I was super excited to see that Nectar Clothing had the perfect periwinkle circle skirt. This Periwinkle Princess Skirt is a comfy polyester spandex blend with an elastic waistband. I let this skirt be the bright pop of color in the outfit by adding a neutral cream lace crop top, also from Nectar. This Mad for Mod Daisy Top has a high neckline with a sheer daisy and scalloped dots print. It’s cropped hem goes perfectly with the high waist band of the skirt. To complete this outfit I added some gold accessories, and a neutral colored clutch.  I am such a huge fan of Nectar Clothing. They have such cute, trendy and feminine clothes so go check out Nectar Clothing!

Firstly, how beautiful is this background? I have a special place in my heart for vines crawling up something. It looks so Victorian. Anyways the feature of my outfit is this gorgeous statement ring from 'Zad. It’s a silver ring that takes up almost half of my finger. It looks so edgy from the smooth polished metal also gives off a very chic vibe. I paired it with velvet leggings from Urban Outfitters, my favorite Hunters, the most adorable t shirt from Zara (It’s a vampire pug. yeah.) and a bright coral scarf to add some color into the outfit.

I guess you could say that I like sparkly things. Simple items with a touch of something unique basically describes my style. This top from Our World Boutique fits right into that description. It is a black chiffon blouse that is slightly sheer but not sheer enough that you can see everything underneath it. My favorite part about this shirt is the back. It’s so unexpected! It has a sheer mesh top layered with pretty black sequins. There’s also buttons going down the back for extra detail. I paired this blouse with my favorite pair of paisley printed shorts and some black and silver flats to pick up the detail in the shirt. Lastly, I added my second favorite part of this outfit. This necklace is also from Our World Boutique. These statement crystal necklaces have been so popular lately and this is definitely the prettiest one I have seen. I got mine in white but it is also available in so many other colors that are perfect for the summer season. I love the way this necklace adds a hint of glamour to my outfit. Although I absolutely love both of these pieces from Our World Boutique, my overall favorite thing about this online boutique is the prices. Everything is under $20, most things are even under $10! How can you say no?! Go check out Our World Boutique!

Statement strives to offer affordable, head-turning accessories that you often see at other places at much higher prices. Looking your best and keeping up with current trends should not break the bank! Statement strives to always keep overhead minimal in order to transfer the savings on to their customers!

It seems like all I have been wearing this summer is a casual outfit and then adding a fun necklace to spice up the outfit. This necklace from Statement is one of my favorites. It is very similar the J.Crew Fan Fringe Necklace but it is a fraction of the cost! I love the colors of this necklace. It features light blue stones with orange and baby pink beads. This necklace is such a simple way to add more color into an outfit and incorporate a more summery vibe. Statement also carries this necklace in various other colors as well as many other designs. Recently, I have been more and more drawn to the preppier pieces of jewelry. I am like big statement pieces in fun colors and designs. Hawthorne Collection encompasses that genre of jewelry quite well. I got two lovely pieces from them and they’re quickly becoming a staple in my outfits. The first is the Fan Fringe Necklace. This is a dupe for the J Crew Fan Fringe Necklace but it is considerably cheaper for similar quality! I love it! It features large navy stones with smaller orange and hot pink stones on a gold bronzed chain and rhinestones in between. It’s so pretty and adds a bright pop of color to my outfit! I paired it with a peachy chiffon button, tucking the necklace underneath the cream collar and adding a striped circle skirt on the bottom. I also wore the bracelet that I got from Hawthorne Collection. It is called the Pave Flat Link Bracelet and it may be the most sparkly thing I own. This gold chain bracelet is set with thousands of sparkling rhinestones and is perfect to wear alone to fancy events or stacked with multiple other bracelets and a watch to make it a bit more casual. I love all the jewelry at Hawthorne Collection. Everything is sure to make such a statement when you are wearing the pieces. Go check them out!
