So, I guess you could say I have the best friends in the world. A whole bunch of my friends got together and bought me the most gorgeous wallet in the whole world. Um hello Marc, how are ya doing.

This is called the Classic Q Wingman Wristlet Wallet and it’s basically perfect. I have been needing a new wallet for quite some time. If you can remember, I used to have an obnoxious metallic silver Coach wallet and it was super ratchet. This one is definitely a lot prettier. Like look at it! And a whole lot more practical too! It’s very smartly designed. It has 5 card slots, 2 slit pockets for bills and receipts, a zippered compartment for change, and my favorite part, a pocket for your phone. It’s the perfect university wallet. When I go grab a bite to eat on campus and I don’t want to bring my whole backpack with me, I can just slip my wallet over my wrist with the attached strap and carry my phone inside it too! Handsfree walking! Perf.

Plus, it’s absolutely gorgeous and I still drool every time I look at it. Marc Jacobs, will you marry me? Kay thanx bae.

So, for my birthday, my lovely friends, Emily and Heather (Thanks guys <3) got me the Lancome Baume in Love in the shade, Urban Ballet. I have been lusting over it for the longest time and it is the most amazing lip product ever.

First, let’s talk about the packaging. The whole Spring collection has the cutest packing, it’s all pink and girly and perfect!

Secondly, the texture of this is amazing. I guess this could be considered a tinted lip balm but it is really so much more than that. It is a super sheer hot pink but it almost changes to a brighter pink on your lips throughout the day. Two of my best friends bought this product as well and it looks absolutely amazing on their lips as well, it’s so universal! It is also super moisturizing and I love how glossy it applies.

There is not one thing I would want to change about this product. It is the prettiest lip balm/lip color that I own! I believe this is a limited edition product so pick it up while you still can!

Find it at Shopper’s Drug Mart or here

I came across this place on a whim. For those of you who are familiar with Edmonton, this is at the Royal Alberta Museum. This gazebo is so pretty and when I went to explore it, i found a heart outlined with rose petals. How cute is that? I have a feeling someone did this for Valentine’s Day. Why are some people so romantic? Ugh. One thing about looking for cool places around Edmonton to take pictures is that I’m starting to realize Edmonton isn’t as boring and ugly as I thought. It’s actually kinda pretty!

Now on to my outfit. I dug this sweater out of my closet. I haven’t worn it for a couple of years now but I think it complimented my cheetah printed shirt nicely. This is one of my favorite shirts. I picked it up at Urban (not Urban Outfitters, it’s a local store in Edmonton and Calgary) on sale for only 10 dollars. As always, I’m wearing my American Eagle jeggings. It’s kinda embarrassing how often I wear these, but they’re just so worn in and comfy. As for shoes, I opted to pull in some color from the cheetahs on my shirt with these mustard booties. Fun fact: my best friend, Ali, used to make fun of me for wearing these boots like six years ago, but I still really like them so HA.

As for accessories, I wearing this new necklace that I just got from Accessory Mercado. It is so freaking cute. It is a shorter necklace, with a rose gold horseshoe and a white triangle quartz stone. It’s very simple but it’s also big enough to make a statement. I love the design! I’m also wearing a rose gold watch and my Marc by Marc Jacobs wristlet wallet (blog post to come).

You have no idea how happy I was to wear only a sweater outside today. Even though there is still that bright white snow on the ground, the weather has been considerably warmer lately. But isn’t that what you would expect when it is now officially Spring?

I went for a very preppy look today. I feel like I should be going to a country club or playing some golf. Those are preppy activities right?

For my outfit today, I am wearing one of my favorite sweaters that is surprisingly from Old Navy. It has a bright pink fox on it and I think it is absolutely adorable. I layered a cream blouse underneath it to dress it up and make it look extra classy. I have been looking for the perfect blouse for forever and I finally found one from Elizabeth and Clarke. Elizabeth and Clarke is such a cool concept. Each season, they send you a box with a couple of gorgeous shirts like this one for a fee ($20 to $30/shirt). I love this blouse. It is made of a beautiful Crepe de Chine fabric and you can tell that it is great quality!

As for the rest of my outfit, I wore a pair of blue jeggings, and of course my black Hunters. You can’t not wear Hunters when the snow is melting! My crystal necklace is from Accessory Mercado and I think it adds the perfect sparkle to this outfit. As you can tell, the sun was brightly shining today, so I added a pair of sunglasses that I have been waiting to wear all winter.

It’s official guys, winter is ending. I have never been so happy to see the pavement of the sidewalk or the absence of big winter parka. And today, Oakley makes a guest appearance in this outfit. How cute is he?! He was so excited to be a model for a day.

For today’s outfit I started with this sweater from Altar’d. I really love the boho feel of this sweater. It’s a cream open knit so it won’t be too hot transitioning into spring with a taupe lace underlay which gives it the girly vibe that I love. I paired it with these awesome leggings from All About Eve that have leather patches on the knees. I love little details like these! For shoes, I wore my combat boots from Go Jane that seem to go with everything. It’s not warm enough to go without a coat yet, so I added this military-inspired jacket that is also from All About Eve. For accessories, I wore this velvet chain necklace from Deadly Ponies that picked up the color in the leggings, tassel earrings and some pretty gold rings. I went for dark nails from Urban Outfitters.

I recently talked about the Moodmatcher Luxe Twist Sticks on my blog but I also received the 20th anniversary set with three limited edition lipstick shades. I am happy to say I am just as pleased with these!

This set comes with three colors, Blissful (Red), Sunny (Yellow), and Wicked (green) as well as a Hi-Shine Lip Polish (Clear). The lipsticks are encased in a shiny silver tube, they look so pretty! I always love lipstick packaging, is that weird? Nah. Like the Twist Sticks, these lipsticks also react with your body’s chemistry and change color so you don’t have to worry about having green or yellow lips. Refer to the swatches above (From right to left: Blissful, Sunny, Wicked). Blissful turns into a more sheer red. Sunny is a gorgeous light pink, while Wicked is a deeper, more rosy color. They are all so pretty. The set also includes the Hi-Shine Lip Polish which I am such a fan of! It is a non sticky gloss that you can apply over your lipsticks to add some extra shine throughout the day. It feels so moisturizing on your lips which I love!

This is the perfect set to try out some of the Moodmatcher line! You won’t be disappointed!

I’ll probably regret putting a picture of me wearing a face mask that might resemble something not so pretty. But yolo right? Just kidding, I’m weird. I feel like people often don’t pay much attention to face masks. Are they just seen as a symbol for a typical tween sleepover? But they’re so much more than that. (insert dramatic music)

This is one of my favorite face masks from Lush. It’s one of their fresh face masks, meaning it’s only good for two weeks and it has to be refrigerated. That’s a bit of a pain.

But that’s really the only downside of this mask. It contains cocoa powder and sandalwood so it will calm the skin and it’s specially made for acne-prone skin so it will fight those breakouts! Hurrah! With most face masks, I find that they don’t really make a difference but when I use this one, my face just feels so much cleaner and smooth. It helps rid my face of the excess oils that will clog my poor pores. (HA poor pores). Even though it doesn’t clear up my face (no face mask has the power to do that unfortunately), I really find that my skin is better off after I use this product. Plus, it smells like a cupcake and who doesn’t want to smear their face with a cupcake? I dunno man. I just don’t know.

I try to apply this face mask every second or third day. I’m a bit forgetful though. Plus, who has the time for that? But, to get the best value out of this product, you do want to apply it as much as you can before the two weeks are up and it expires. Just don’t go all crazy and apply it everyday because that will dry up your skin like a raisin and that ain’t cute. Nuh uh.

To sum it up, this face mask is cool and so are you.

Pro-tip: Apply this face mask and wear it to school. It will help you make friends. True story. (not really).

Chemistry is pretty cool, but it’s even cooler when you combine it with makeup. The are the Moodmatcher Luxe Twist Sticks from Fran Wilson. The twist sticks’ innovative formula react with your lips to create a one-of-a kind color! How cool is that? When I first received these and glanced at the colors, I thought they were just novelty lipsticks and I really didn’t expect much out of them.

However, that all changed when I grabbed the blue twist stick. As soon as the color touched my lips, it turned into a gorgeous pink, no blue in sight! (thank god!) All of the colors are really gorgeous! The red twist stick is a sheer rose color. The pink is (obviously) a pretty bright mid toned pink. The orange is such a beautiful coral color, perfect for summer! The next three colors are more cool toned. The yellow is the palest shade, a light pink. The green is a darker pink, more of a neon and the blue is a gorgeous mauve pink (it’s more of an orchid color).

Not only are all of the colors amazing, I am most in love with the formula. These twist sticks are enriched with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E so they are super moisturizing on your lips! I’m sure you’re all aware of how dry my lips are, but these feel so nice on! They start off with having a glossy finish but fade to a matte finish throughout the day! They claim that they last 12 hours. I’m not sure if I’ve ever worn mine for a full 12 hours but they definitely last longer than an average lipstick which is fab!
